Description:

Compositing for a 45 second shot of a short film that was accidentally shot with a reflection of the crew on the camera lens filter to the right of the screen.

Procedures: 

  • Tracking with The Foundry 3D Camera Tracker

  • Rotoscoping

  • Digital Cleanup

  • Compositing

  • Color Correction and Color Matching

Process:

the shot had to be 3d tracked, then I would extract a few frames to photoshop and create additional leaves and ground features by cloning and using content aware in Photoshop, then placed them back in Ae, attached to the tracking data, and finally rotoscoped the figures on top of the placed elements.
